Refund and Return Policy

At Patitas Coquetas, we stand behind the artisan quality of our work. While our custom-tailored garments are entirely exempt from returns (as stated in our Terms of Service), we offer a flexible policy for standard items from our Seasonal Collections.

Please read the following guidelines carefully to understand our process for customers in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

SECTION 1 - RETURN WINDOW AND ELIGIBILITY

You have 30 calendar days from the date your package was delivered to request a return, exchange, or refund for seasonal items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following mandatory conditions:

  • The garment must be unwashed and unused.

  • The item must retain all its original tags attached.

  • The product must be returned inside its original packaging.

  • Note: Any items with visible pet hair, odors, or damage caused by the animal will be automatically rejected.

SECTION 2 - SHIPPING FEES AND RESPONSIBILITY

Who covers the FedEx return shipping fees depends entirely on the reason for your return:

  • Manufacturing Defects or Quality Issues: If your garment arrives with a visible factory defect or we sent the wrong item, Patitas Coquetas will completely absorb the shipping costs. We will provide you with a pre-paid FedEx shipping label to return the item and will cover the cost of sending the replacement.

  • Size Exchanges or Change of Mind: If you selected the incorrect standard size or simply changed your mind, the customer is responsible for covering all return shipping fees to Mexico, as well as the shipping costs for the new replacement item.

SECTION 3 - REFUNDS AND STORE CREDIT

Once your returned item is received at our workshop and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your request.

  • Monetary Refunds: If you request a full refund due to a verified quality issue, the money will be processed directly to your original method of payment (PayPal, Mercado Pago, or Credit/Debit card). Please note that we only refund the value of the product; original shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Exchanges: If you prefer to swap the item for a different design or standard size, we will issue Store Credit via a digital coupon so you can select your new product on our website.

SECTION 4 - SALE AND CLEARANCE ITEMS (FINAL SALE)

Only regular-priced items from our Seasonal Collections may be returned or exchanged. All items purchased with special discounts, end-of-season sales, or clearance markdowns are strictly considered Final Sale and are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges under any circumstance.

SECTION 5 - HOW TO START A RETURN

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at privacy@patitascoquetas.com with your order number, a brief explanation of the request, and clear photographs of the product (especially if claiming a manufacturing defect). Our team will respond with instructions within 48 business hours.
