Welcome to Patitas Coquetas. This website is operated by Patitas Coquetas, based in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Patitas Coquetas. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).
SECTION 1 - PRICING AND CURRENCY
All prices displayed on our website are stated and processed in United States Dollars (USD). For international buyers, your bank or payment processor may apply currency conversion rates or transaction fees, which are completely outside of our control.
SECTION 2 - CUSTOM ORDERS & PRODUCTION TIMES
Our star service features custom-tailored apparel handcrafted to the specific measurements provided by the customer.
Production Timeline: Production takes a minimum of seven (7) days and a maximum of three (3) weeks, depending on the type of garment.
Delays: In the rare event that production exceeds three (3) weeks, we commit to notifying the customer. This notification will be sent no later than eight (8) days after the production process has commenced.
SECTION 3 - RETURN, EXCHANGE, AND REFUND POLICY
Custom Orders (US & Canada): Because custom-tailored garments are handmade specifically to the unique measurements provided by the buyer, all custom orders shipped to the United States and Canada are strictly exempt from returns, exchanges, or refunds. It is the customer's sole responsibility to provide accurate measurements.
Custom Orders (Mexico Only): Customers located within Mexico have a maximum of thirty (30) days from the date of delivery to request a sizing adjustment or exchange.
Seasonal Collections: Standard items from our seasonal collections are subject to the terms outlined in our separate Refund Policy.
SECTION 4 - INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, CUSTOMS, AND DUTIES
We ship internationally to the United States and Canada utilizing FedEx.
Import Taxes & Duties: When a shipment arrives in the destination country, it may be subject to import duties, customs tariffs, and local taxes determined by the local customs authorities. The customer (the importer of record) is solely responsible for paying all import taxes, customs duties, and brokerage fees. Patitas Coquetas has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
Shipping Insurance & Lost/Damaged Packages:
Custom Orders: We provide shipping insurance exclusively for custom-tailored orders. In the event FedEx loses or damages a custom order package, we will assist you with the claim or insurance coverage according to FedEx’s terms.
Seasonal Collections: Items from seasonal collections are not insured. Once the package is legally handed over to FedEx, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer.
SECTION 5 - PAYMENT METHODS
We accept payments through secure international channels including PayPal, Mercado Pago, and direct credit/debit card entry through our integrated payment gateways on Hostinger. By submitting your payment information, you authorize us to charge the total amount in USD.
SECTION 6 - GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of this website, purchases, or these Terms shall be settled exclusively in the competent courts located in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, and you expressly waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond to you by reason of your present or future domicile.
SECTION 7 - CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE
We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
